Position Summary

We're seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Office & Project Coordinator to support the daily operations of our growing construction company.

This position is perfect for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, communicating with customers and subcontractors, and helping projects stay on track. You'll work directly with the owner and play an important role in supporting both office operations and active construction projects.

No two days are exactly the same, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Manage company email and customer communications
  • Schedule appointments, site visits, and project meetings
  • Organize and maintain the owner's calendar
  • Contact subcontractors to request estimates and follow up on outstanding quotes
  • Coordinate scheduling with vendors and subcontractors
  • Maintain organized digital project files
  • Assist with permit paperwork and project documentation
  • Update Buildertrend, QuickBooks, and other company software as needed
  • Prepare invoices and assist with administrative tasks
  • Coordinate material orders and deliveries
  • Help improve office systems and organization as the company grows

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Professional phone and customer service skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Ability to learn new software quickly
  • QuickBooks experience is preferred but not required
  • Construction industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Details

Position: Part-Time

Hours: 10–20 hours per week (approximately 2–4 hours per weekday)

Schedule: Flexible weekday hours

Pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience

Growth Opportunity: Potential for additional hours and advancement as the company grows.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
