Rochester Davis-Fetch Corp is hiring a Union Construction Payroll Specialist / Certified Payroll Specialist with experience in prevailing wage compliance. This role is responsible for managing payroll, union payroll processing, certified payroll and compliance reporting in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process weekly union construction payroll in Foundation for Construction
- Maintain accurate certified payroll records and documentation
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and NYS prevailing wage laws
- Prepare and submit job specific compliance reports.
- Ensure compliance with prevailing wage rates, job classifications, and wage determinations
- Process monthly union benefit reporting (health, welfare, pension, annuity, training funds)
- Maintain compliance per project requirements.
- Respond to requests from agencies including the U.S. Department of Labor
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments.
Pay: $25.00 - $28.85 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Union Construction Payroll: 2 years (Required)
- Certified Payroll / Prevailing Wage Compliance: 2 years (Required)
- Foundation Software in Construction: 1 year (Preferred)
- NYSDOL (Dept of Labor) Reporting: 1 year (Preferred)
- Familiarity with unions (carpenters, finishers/tapers, etc.): 1 year (Preferred)
- Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
