Job Description: Procurement Manager
KNL is seeking a Procurement Manager to join our team, working directly onsite with our client. This role is essential in managing full-cycle procurement activities for large-scale construction projects, many of which are concentrated within the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will excel in developing and maintaining operational efficiencies, navigating financial accountability throughout the bidding process, and fostering contractor alignment across high-value budgets and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the complete procurement lifecycle for corporate construction projects, including bid evaluations, cost and contract negotiations, change order management, and execution of the project buyout.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and financial stakeholders across multiple independent and dedicated teams to align procurement actions with budget forecasts and project milestones.
• Develop and maintain procurement documentation used for bid evaluations, and leverage all received resources to prepare formal award recommendations for project owner approval.
• Utilize and interpret data from construction management platforms—such as Procore, Bluebeam, LeadTime, BuildingConnected, and Clearstory—to support bidder communications, material tracking, project costing, and contractor/supplier coordination.
• Effectively manage multiple concurrent tasks while adhering to rapid project schedules and critical milestone turnaround timelines.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure timely approvals, reconciliations, and reporting of procurement activities and recurring agendas.
• Assist in continuous process improvement efforts by recommending tools, policies, or workflow enhancements to strengthen procurement operations.

Basic Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within construction or large-scale project management industries.
• Demonstrated ability to manage procurement for high-value contracts and complex projects with high attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of procurement regulations, financial tracking practices, and vendor/contractor compliance standards.
• Experience with construction platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, LeadTime, BuildingConnected, and Clearstory is beneficial.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word, with overall familiarity across the Microsoft Office Suite and digital document management systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including comfort with virtual meetings and other verbal communication channels.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and thrive within a dynamic, fast-paced, project-driven environment.
