Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Manage procurement processes from requisition to purchase order issuance, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations and internal policies.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify supply chain issues, implement corrective actions, and optimize procurement workflows.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production planning teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, supporting just-in-time inventory management.
• Oversee supplier management activities including performance evaluation, risk assessment, and category management to enhance supply chain resilience.
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions to proactively adjust sourcing strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Excellent contract negotiation skills coupled with a thorough understanding of contracts and procurement law.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR), logistics, materials management, and quality management standards.
• Ability to perform category management, sourcing initiatives, and supplier management effectively.
• Analytical mindset with root cause analysis capabilities to resolve procurement issues swiftly.
• Exceptional communication skills for negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
