Construction Accounting Administrator
Seeking someone driven to grow with the company for long term employment. This position requires multi tasking, full charge bookkeeping/ data entry with multiple entities (an entity per project). Assisting with AP processing and file management on dropbox with transactions.
Looking to hire as soon as possible but flexible for the right person.
Location: Mesa 100% onsite during training (2 weeks) graduating to twice a month at site office in NE Mesa (Las Sendas Office). During summer months it is strictly remote as the owner is not in Arizona.
Compensation: $60-75k Annual Salary, depending on experience as this role can vary on hiring with less experience and training vs requiring very little training. Growth opportunities for those that desire so. Bonuses given out throughout the year for achievements.
Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day & your birthday.
Expected working hours: 40 hours per week - no OT needed.
What you will do:
Accounts Payable/Receivable/Data Entry: Quickbooks Desktop
- Complete Full Charge Bookkeeping Tasks for project the 3 entities that include accurate cost accounting data entry including assignment of bills to PO's (use of items)
- Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Perform all AP related functions including: bill payments, document tracking, lien release submittals and QB coding
Project Accountant Duties:
- Assist with reviewing AIA GC draw support; providing all backup data and obtaining line releases when needed
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with insurance & lien release requirements are met
- Maintain all sub housing allocations (processing AP for rents, allocating utilities, updating tracker and setting up utilities when applicable)
- Assist with creating AIA lender draws
Administrative:
- Dropbox file management - significant amount of backup requirements for AIA lender draw compliance
- Assist CFO as needed with various excel tasks
- Traveling mailbox organization
What we are looking for:
- QuickBook DESKTOP & using items experience required
- Excel experience required
- Cost accounting/Construction experience required
