Construction Project Engineer

Project Engineer – F&B Processing / Data Center / Mission Critical / Manufacturing / Aerospace

Nationwide General Contractor specializing in large-scale, technically complex facilities across Food & Beverage Processing, Data Centers, Mission Critical Infrastructure, Advanced Manufacturing, and Aerospace.

Seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer with strong technical aptitude and proven ability to support full project delivery—coordinating design, procurement, documentation, and field execution for large industrial and mission-critical builds.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with full project lifecycle: design coordination, preconstruction support, procurement, and closeout.
• Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, logs, and technical documentation.
• Support budget tracking, cost reporting, forecasting, and change management.
• Coordinate closely with process engineers, MEP teams, subcontractors, and field supervision.
• Update and maintain project schedules, critical path activities, and look-ahead planning.
• Assist with contract administration, scopes of work, equipment procurement, and material tracking (process equipment, utilities, MEP systems).

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years as Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager in F&B processing, mission critical, data center, manufacturing, or aerospace construction.
• Experience supporting greenfield plants, expansions, or large-scale fit-outs with complex MEP/process systems.
• Strong understanding of structural steel, concrete, process piping, utilities, generators, UPS, switchgear, chillers, HVAC, automation/BMS, and equipment installation.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling tools, and technical construction documentation.
