Construction Project Manager

What You’ll Do:

We are looking for a meticulous, adaptable, and diligent individual to help us take our team to the next level.

You will represent our general contracting team as you oversee multifamily construction projects and build lasting relationships with clients, partners, and key vendors.

• Oversee all aspects of assigned construction projects including schedule, budget, quality control, reporting, billing, and safety
• Lead, delegate, and work alongside Superintendents, Project Engineers, Project Coordinators, and Interns
• Create and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate directly with vendors and subcontractors
• Create, manage, and forecast project budgets
• Track and organize change orders
• Oversee the submittal and shop drawing, etc. processes and ensure their timely & accurate approvals
• Ensure organization and usability of submittals, RFI’s, and other documents
• Interface directly with 3 party clients and in-house development team
• Maintain and update information on Procore
• Write AIA subcontracts and purchase orders
• Maintain professional appearance of all deliverables and project sites
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding client requirements and expectations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related.
• Minimum of 5-years of commercial construction related project management experience with a general contractor
• Experience with Procore software
• Previous experience with Revu Bluebeam is a plus
• Excellent computer and typing skills
• Ability to adapt to using Drake Tappe’s standard processes
• Willingness to travel (local travel only)
• A previous record of successfully completed projects in the $5M to $100M range
• Excellent communication skills in-person, over the phone, and through email
• Strong time management skills and an ability to prioritize and multi-task while staying organized
• Microsoft Office and Excel experience
