Job description:
- Develop clear project objectives by reviewing project plans, site conditions, and requirements, ensuring all goals are well-defined and achievable.
- Check drawings, plans, and quantities for accuracy, ensuring all calculations are correct and reflect the project scope.
- Plan and schedule construction activities, breaking down the project into phases to ensure deadlines are met and resources are efficiently allocated.
- Supervise and guide laborers, contractors, and subcontractors, providing clear instructions and resolving issues on-site to keep work progressing smoothly.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, provide clarifications, and issue proper instructions to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with quality control and assurance standards, ensuring that all work meets specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Allocate project resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, ensuring that everything is in place to meet project demands.
- Enforce safety procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
- Evaluate and manage change requests, analyzing their impact on scope, budget, and schedule, and processing change orders through the formal approval process.
- Monitor project progress by preparing planning for all projects and regular status reports that document accomplishments, challenges, risks, and any required actions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget, proactively managing any risks or challenges that could delay work or increase costs.
- Support a collaborative environment by fostering strong relationships between the project team and contractors.
Requirements :
- A bachelor’s degree or master's degree in a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion.
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies.
- Experience as a construction project manager, IT project manager, or ERP project manager.
- Able to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Understanding of ERP implementation.
- Budget management experience.
