Job Description – Senior Civil Engineer

Position: Senior Civil Engineer

Reporting To: Project Head / Management

Role Summary

The Senior Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and quality control of all civil and structural works. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and coordination skills to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery in compliance with standards and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee civil construction activities including RCC, finishing, structural, and infrastructure works.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, and ensure execution as per approved designs.
• Plan project schedules, manpower deployment, and material requirements.
• Supervise site engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality workmanship.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory norms, and company policies.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, electrical/mechanical teams, and management.
• Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and highlight risks or deviations.
• Control project costs, minimize wastage, and ensure budget compliance.
• Inspect works, conduct quality checks, and ensure timely rectification of issues.
• Support management in technical decision-making and problem resolution.

Technical Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, RCC, and finishing works.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Experience in project planning, execution, and site management.
• Knowledge of quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.

Qualification

• B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory).

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
