Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, on budget, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to drive project success through effective planning, resource management, and communication.
Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are strongly preferred. The ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking crew members, subcontractors, and stakeholders is a significant asset in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools to coordinate all phases of construction.
Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to secure quality materials and services at optimal costs.
Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, schematics, blueprints, and design specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and architects by reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate implementation.
Coordinate project teams including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or similar tools for accurate cost forecasting and budget control.
Monitor progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and project updates; adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
Ensure all documentation is complete, including daily logs, incident reports, inspection records, and project documentation.
Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders — including Spanish-speaking teams — to resolve issues promptly and keep projects on track.
REQUIREMENTS
Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in civil or heavy construction projects.
Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project; experience with Primavera P3 is a plus.
Familiarity with construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or equivalent for budgeting purposes.
Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding technical drawings (Civil 3D knowledge is advantageous).
Experience managing contracts and understanding legal aspects related to construction projects.
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and regulations; ability to enforce safety standards consistently.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients- Experience in supervisory or leadership roles.
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
