Construction Project Manager

Location: Camp Hill, PA

Work Arrangement: On-site

Schedule: 8 hrs/day, 5 days/wk, 40 hrs/wk

Interview: On-site

Role Overview

The Project Manager (PM) manages all aspects of the project after hand off from the estimator through to completion of punch list and final billing and collection. The PM manages, organizes and coordinates all parties and activities to achieve profitable, on time completion of assigned projects.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages the finances, controls costs and oversees all administrative requirements for projects
  • Ensures customers are provided a high level of service and projects are built to specification with a high degree of quality
  • Maintains positive cash flow and manages billing, change orders, and invoicing
  • Establish and maintain project schedule and milestone dates
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and materials delivery
  • Prepare cost reports and analyze project financials
  • Lead project administration, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to plans and specifications
  • Manage job close-out including punch list and documentation

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience in the site development/ construction industry required
  • Skill in reading and interpreting plans and specifications
  • Knowledge of site excavation and utility construction, materials and methods
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Highly organized
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and bidding software such as HCSS Heavy Bid

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management or related field of study
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior planning and organizational abilities
