Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager to lead our quality management efforts at our Olathe, KS based construction project. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of quality assurance and control, ensuring that construction activities meet the highest standards of safety, compliance, and excellence. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement, uphold contractual obligations, and guarantee that project deliverables align with specifications and regulatory requirements. Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans tailored to each construction project, ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
• Conduct detailed quality inspections and site assessments to verify compliance with design documents, safety protocols, and contractual obligations.
• Lead regular site audits and inspections, identifying potential issues early and implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Collect, analyze, and document quality data to track trends, identify root causes of deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate closely with construction management teams, contractors, and subcontractors to communicate quality expectations and resolve non-conformance issues efficiently.
• Review construction contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure all work aligns with contractual requirements.
• Maintain meticulous records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions for audit purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site management with a strong focus on quality assurance and control processes.
• Solid understanding of construction management principles, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Demonstrated ability to perform thorough quality inspections and conduct detailed analysis of inspection data.
• Excellent analysis skills to identify issues quickly and develop effective solutions.
• Familiarity with contracts management related to construction projects.
• Strong data collection skills for tracking quality metrics over time.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse project teams and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in construction inspection or quality control roles is highly desirable. Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
