Duties

• Execute remodeling projects that include framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, tile laying, and trim carpentry to enhance interior and exterior spaces.
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as caulking, plastering, concrete finishing, masonry work, and glass installation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure precise execution of design specifications.
• Manage construction site activities by coordinating with team members, inspecting work progress, and maintaining safety protocols.
• Perform construction inspection duties to verify quality standards are met during each phase of the remodel.
• Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and timelines for efficient project management.
• Operate heavy equipment when necessary for demolition or material handling during restoration or hardscape projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction remodeling or related fields with a strong background in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or restoration work.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of construction estimating techniques and inspection procedures to ensure quality control.
• Experience with various building systems including plumbing and electrical work is highly desirable.
• Ability to work safely on-site while adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Pay: $25.86 - $40.00 per hour
