Construction Road Sweeper Driver

Overview
Due to a growing business, We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Sweeper driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, ensuring that all areas are free from debris and hazards. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to operate sweeping equipment effectively. A background in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, is advantageous for this position.

Duties

• Operate sweeping machinery to clean designated areas, including streets, parking lots, and industrial sites.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on sweeping equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collect and dispose of debris in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during each shift.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed vehicles, is preferred.
• Strong ability to operate various types of cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks within set deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
