Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roll Off Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and debris from various job sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

• Operate roll-off trucks, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials.
• Load and unload containers at designated locations, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Navigate various routes while complying with traffic regulations and company policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
• Maintain accurate records of loads, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance logs.
• Assist in training new drivers on safe operation practices and vehicle handling.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy-duty vehicles including roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers.
• Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles as well as automatic ones.
• Experience as a commercial driver with a focus on delivery driver responsibilities.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.
• Familiarity with flatbed operations is a plus.
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local roadways.
