Construction Project Scheduler

Employer: NASA Facilities Maintenance Division.

Location: Houston, TX (77058).

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday.

Pay: $90k DOE.

About The Role

Our client is seeking a Construction Project Scheduler to support construction and facility projects by coordinating schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and on time. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who excel at organization, communication, and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using tools like Microsoft Project.
  • Coordinate daily and long-term work schedules with supervisors and teams.
  • Track milestones, monitor progress, and update management on project status.
  • Review subcontractor/vendor invoices and verify coding for accuracy.
  • Prepare reports, performance reviews, and recommendations based on project data.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in construction project scheduling using tools like Microsoft Project (OR equivalent experience in construction with strong scheduling exposure).

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with project scheduling in construction or facilities.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (Microsoft Project required; MAXIMO a plus).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background/drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Roofing construction experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Microsoft Project certification.
  • Experience supporting large-scale or government projects.
