Woelber Excavating is a growing underground utility and heavy civil construction company looking for a dependable, organized office assistant to help support daily operations.
This position is ideal for someone with construction office experience who can help keep projects, equipment, paperwork, and employees organized in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize and process new hire paperwork
- Maintain employee files and company records
- Keep track of equipment registrations, inspections, and insurance documents
- Assist project managers with daily administrative tasks
- Coordinate paperwork for projects, vendors, and subcontractors
- Answer phones, emails, and help manage office communication
- Help maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Assist with scheduling, document tracking, and general office support
- Notary experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Previous construction office experience preferred
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay on top of deadlines
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Ability to work well with field crews, project managers, and office staff
- Notary Public certification is a plus but not required
