Construction Service Technician (Delivery & Service)

Position Overview

This is a hybrid role combining material delivery, job site support, and construction service work. You’ll be responsible for getting materials to job sites, cleaning up unused materials and finished jobsites, and completing small items on site, punch list items and repair items.

This is not just a driving job—and not just a construction job. It requires someone who can switch gears, stay productive, handle customer and contractor related conversations and take ownership of getting things done without constant direction.

Responsibilities

Material Delivery (Approx. 50%)

• Deliver materials to job sites using a straight truck (CDL required OR we may help you obtain this license)
• Safely operate and transport a mule for unloading and loading
• Ensure loads are secure, accurate, and delivered on time

Job Site Support

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety
• Assist crews as needed to keep projects moving

Punch List & Repairs (Approx. 20%)

• Complete finish work and service items, including:
• Trim adjustments
• Job completions
• Paint touch-ups
• Minor repairs (no fear of heights)
• Final walk thru with clients at times

Material Prep & Take-Off Support

• Handle take off lists from blueprints and contracts with support of the team
• Help verify materials against take-offs
• Assist with staging and preparing loads for upcoming jobs

Job Relations

• Keep good relations with contractors & ensure materials are onsite & ahead of schedule
• Support Project manager at times with customer discussions, walk thrus and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL (company may help obtain)
• Experience driving and handling materials
• Basic construction knowledge (carpentry/finish work preferred)
• Ability to work independently and stay productive
• Strong attention to detail and accountability
• Physically capable of lifting and working in outdoor conditions
• Reliable and consistent

$24-$30 per hour

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
