Construction Site Lead (SPP Project – International Assignment)

İltekno is seeking an experienced Construction Site Lead to manage the on-site execution of a large-scale Solar Power Plant (SPP) project abroad. The role will oversee all construction, mechanical-electrical installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring full compliance with project schedule, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

(Knowledge of BESS integration is optional and considered a plus.)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all construction, installation, and commissioning activities of the SPP project on site.
• Prepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly site plans.
• Oversee subcontractors, ensuring contractual compliance, progress tracking, and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to project schedule and budget targets.
• Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Coordinate site logistics, equipment flow, and material management.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with local stakeholders, consultants, and the client’s representatives.
• Lead workforce planning and manage site teams efficiently.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, or Energy Engineering.
• Proven experience in SPP projects with a cumulative installed capacity of at least 100 MW , successfully delivered.
• Experience working on international construction or energy projects.
• Strong capability in subcontractor management, site coordination, and schedule tracking.
• Advanced command of English (written and verbal).
• Strong commitment to applying HSE rules and standards on site.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills; ability to work in multicultural environments.
• Willingness to stay on site for long-term international assignments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of BESS systems, energy storage integration, or large-scale inverter technologies (optional).
• Experience with FIDIC or similar international contract structures.
• Proficiency in MS Project or equivalent planning tools.
