Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in the field of Plumbing/Maintenance.
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
• Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances.
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Resourceful in the completion of tasks and effective at multi-tasking.
• A team player, proactive and reliable.
• Friendly with a great deal of patience.

Job Description:

• Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems.
• Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring).
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
• Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (air-conditioning units, radiators etc.).
• Maintenance, repair and installation of water supply services, waste and drainage systems installed in copper, malleable iron, steel, cast iron, PVC, clay and asbestos cement pipes.
• Make joints using solvent cements, screwed ends, push-fit rings and compression fittings.
• Use of mechanical equipment used for plumbing works.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in safe and sound condition for above projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,800.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
