Construction Submittal Engineer (USBased)

Job description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Construction Submittals Engineer with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in U.S.-based construction documentation and submittal management. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bahria Town, offering a strong growth opportunity within a professional construction support environment serving U.S. residential and commercial projects.

• Working Hours: Night Shift — 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM
• Salary Range: PKR 70,000 – 100,000 (commensurate with experience)

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline (mandatory)
• 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in construction submittals or document control, preferably on U.S.-based projects
• Strong understanding of U.S. construction drawings, specifications, CSI divisions, and contract documentation
• Proven experience in preparing, reviewing, and managing submittal logs in accordance with U.S. project standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management systems
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle multiple submittals under strict deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with international teams

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and manage construction submittals in compliance with U.S. project specifications and standards
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting of submittal packages for submission
• Maintain and regularly update submittal tracking logs
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for approvals and clarifications
• Track submission status and ensure timely follow-ups to meet project deadlines
• Support document control processes and reporting activities
