Position Overview

Tucker Building Corporation is seeking an experienced Concrete Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial and industrial construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily jobsite operations, ensuring safety, quality control, scheduling, and coordination of subcontractors from project start through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day jobsite operations and field personnel
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and material deliveries
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and schedules
• Maintain daily reports, photos, and documentation (Raken or similar platforms)
• Perform quality control inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Owners, and Inspectors
• Maintain site cleanliness and professionalism at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent (commercial/industrial concrete experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of construction means and methods
• Proven experience managing subcontractors and schedules
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency with digital reporting tools (tablets, jobsite software)

Preferred Experience

• Commercial, industrial, or concrete construction experience
• Experience with QA/QC programs and safety documentation
• Ability to manage multiple scopes simultaneously
