Construction Superintendent

We are looking for PMC Construction Superintendent with 17 years of experience to be based in Abu Dhabi for an onshore project.

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities for gas and LNG projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution in line with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities covering civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works for gas and LNG facilities.

• Ensure works are executed in accordance with IFC drawings, specifications, approved method statements, and construction schedules.

• Coordinate EPC/EPCM contractors, subcontractors, and vendors on site.

• Monitor construction progress, productivity, and resource utilization; report to the Construction Manager.

• Ensure construction works comply with project quality requirements, codes, and standards (API, ASME, NFPA, ISO, NACE, etc.).
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with QA/QC teams and client representatives.
• Ensure proper documentation, punch list closure, and as-built records.
• Review and support short-term and look-ahead construction schedules.
• Identify constraints, interface issues, and risks; propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, logistics, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A bachelor's degree in relevant engineering
• Minimum of 17 -20years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas (10) years in in GCC region.
• Must have at least Five (10) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
• Experience with major onshore projects.
