We are currently looking for a skilled
Construction Superintendent to support our Field Operations team based in
Norfolk, VA.
This role may involve second-shift work depending on project needs.The Superintendent will be responsible for leading on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project requirements. This individual plays a key role in delivering projects efficiently, on schedule, and within budget, while upholding our company's core Mission, Vision, and Values. Candidates located in the local area are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day field operations, ensuring work meets RFPs, plans, specs, and proposal documents

Direct and coordinate the efforts of employees and subcontractors on-site

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
-
Manage schedule, budget, and materials to keep projects on track

Foster a collaborative, safety-conscious work environment
-
Act as a liaison between field crews, clients, and office/project management teams
Qualifications
-
Minimum:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Preferred:
-
College coursework or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
-
Government, military, or large commercial project experience preferred
-
Prior experience in Design-Build and large-scale projects strongly preferred
-
Required:
-
5+ years as a Superintendent on mid-size commercial projects
-
4+ years (or equivalent) of field/trade experience in the construction industry

Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet tools

Familiarity with Primavera P3/P6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit (preferred)

Certifications:
-
CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, EM-385, and STS certifications required (training can be provided if necessary)

LEED GAA or AP certification is a plus

Spanish/English bilingual abilities are advantageous
