Construction Superintendent

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires excellent leadership abilities to supervise on-site teams and ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on the construction site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Manage project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 and ProCore.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Prepare construction estimates and budgets, ensuring all costs are accounted for throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Utilize tools such as HeavyBid for accurate bidding processes.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and promote a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to construction teams, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including project scheduling and budgeting.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid.
  • Familiarity with contracts, quality control processes, and construction estimating techniques.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to understand complex schematics.
  • Strong management skills with demonstrated experience in supervising teams effectively.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Experience in pipeline construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
