Construction Superintendent - 5 years Commercial Experience

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Review blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Utilize project scheduling tools such as Primavera to maintain timelines and track progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and resolve any issues that arise.
• Manage project documentation using software like ProCore for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
• Assist in budgeting processes by monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Train and mentor junior staff on best practices in construction management.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including project scheduling, budgeting, and site management.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing is a plus.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
