Construction Superintendent/Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires effective leadership and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

  • Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Primavera P6 for project planning and tracking.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera and HeavyBid.
  • Oversee contract negotiations and management to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality control, and safety compliance (OSHA standards).
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates to ensure accuracy in project execution.
  • Supervise on-site teams, providing guidance and support while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process to meet industry standards.

Skills

  • Proficient in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes including budgeting, estimating, and quality control.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret schematics effectively.
  • Proven experience in project scheduling and management within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices on construction sites.
  • Exceptional supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making during project execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $73,444.01 - $88,448.70 per year
