Construction Superintendent/Project Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure the highest quality product is delivered on time and within budget
• Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities and personnel
• Schedule all involved subcontractors for each phase of construction and evaluate the quality and efficiency of their work to ensure work complies with local and state building code
• Coordinate daily with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
• Inspect and determine subcontractor’s workmanship and product quality is completed on time and within defined scope of work.
• Authorize payment of subcontractors when work is completed
• Monitor job site cleanliness
• Ability to work additional hours as necessary to meet business needs
• Enforce job site safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Update job site photos and weather conditions daily
• Maintian construction plans, specifications and color selections

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a superintendent on residential construction
• Proven track record of ground up construction
• Proven organizational skills
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Regular exposure to outside work environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachlors degree from a four year college or university
• Work effectively in a high pressure high production environment
• Background in carpentry or skilled trades

Salary

• $70,000- $90,000 per year
• Bonus on each house completed based on specific criteria
• Vacation, personal time, company holidays.
