Construction Superintendent/Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and project scheduling. Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
• Oversee daily construction site operations, supervising subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using construction management software; monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation for on-site implementation.
• Manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors; negotiate terms and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct regular site inspections to enforce OSHA safety regulations; implement quality control measures to meet industry standards.
• Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other construction management software to track project milestones, budgets, change orders, and documentation.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and opportunities; communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects; minimum of several years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of construction site safety protocols including OSHA regulations; ability to enforce safety standards rigorously.
• Proficiency with construction management software.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams; ability to motivate staff and foster collaboration on-site.
• Familiarity with contracts management including negotiation and compliance oversight.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
