Construction Superintendent/Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent/Project Manager to lead and oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion. This role combines hands-on supervision with strategic project management, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard construction management software. Duties

• Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution
• Manage on-site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management tools
• Oversee subcontractor activities, monitor progress, and resolve any onsite issues promptly
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure accurate understanding of project scope and requirements
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective communication, document control via Bluebeam or equivalent software, and timely reporting
• Manage procurement processes and coordinate deliveries to maintain project timelines
• Ensure all work complies with local codes, regulations, and safety standards

Experience

• Proven track record in construction management or as a construction superintendent with extensive site experience (10+ years preferred)
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Familiarity with contracts administration and negotiation processes
• Hands-on experience with construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or equivalent systems
• Demonstrated ability in project coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles using Civil 3D is a plus
• Prior experience managing large-scale commercial or civil construction projects preferred

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
