Construction Supervisor

Description: Successful and Growing Hotel Contractor looking for highly motivated and successful Superintendent to join the Team.

Job Purpose: Become a Project Superintendent of new Hotel Construction, leading a construction team and subcontractors to deliver a successful project.

Duties & Qualifications:

1. Accomplish Project Objectives: successful and proficient in scheduling, evaluating problems, reading and understanding plans / specifications / building codes, conflict resolution & problem solving with all team players, direction and management of subcontractors and labor force, understanding budget impacts to the project and contract responsibilities of all on site. Review all work for code requirements.

2. Meet and Achieve Project Milestones: update and forecast project schedule, motivate and monitor subcontractor and labor force, monitor and project required delivery dates and lead times, maintain daily reports and weekly executive summaries. Hold and run weekly meetings with subcontractors on site and bi-weekly look ahead meetings.

3. Project Financials: Work with project manager to know and understand contract responsibilities and separations of scopes of work, work with in project budget to manage and deliver a successful project, coordinate and qualify all change order work.

4. Project Schedule: Update and Maintain an accurate project schedule to be used and distributed to all team members on a weekly basis.

5. Project Safety: Maintain project safety log, hole and facilitate project safety meetings, monitor OSHA standards and safety requirement.

6. Project History: Successful history of Hotel &/or Multi-family or similar commercial construction projects. Success and history of managing subcontractors and work force and delivering projects on time and on budget.

7. Specific Skills: Ability to work with Microsoft Project, Work with AIA Contracts, Tracking Budgets and Material, Working with Excel, Team Development, Safety / OSHA.
