Construction Supervisor – Projects (Oil & Gas EPC)

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate multi‑discipline construction activities on EPC Oil & Gas projects. The role requires strong site leadership, interface management skills, and the ability to ensure construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project standards.

This role is ideal for professionals with broad construction experience and a results‑driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate overall construction activities across civil, mechanical, piping, structural, and E&I disciplines
• Ensure construction works are executed as per approved IFC drawings, method statements, schedules, and QatarEnergy standards
• Coordinate subcontractors, discipline supervisors, and site teams to achieve construction milestones
• Monitor site progress, manpower deployment, and productivity
• Interface with engineering, planning, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams to resolve site constraints
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements and promote a strong safety culture
• Support inspections, system completions, pre‑commissioning, and handover activities
• Identify construction risks and propose practical mitigation measures

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline)
• Minimum 12 years experience in construction supervision within Oil & Gas EPC projects
• Proven experience on QatarEnergy / QP projects is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of EPC construction sequencing and multi‑discipline interfaces
• Ability to interpret drawings, schedules, and construction methodologies
• Strong leadership, coordination, and decision‑making skills

Added Value (Preferred)

• Brownfield or shutdown project experience
• HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)
• Experience with digital construction reporting or progress monitoring tools
