CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN I

Sierra Tel is seeking to fill two Construction Technician I positions to join its Construction team in the beautiful mountain community of Oakhurst, California. Construction Technicians enjoy working outdoors, in a variety of locations, and perform all aspects of underground utility locating, marking, repairing, and installing. A typical day may include hauling equipment, locating underground utilities, plowing, trenching, directional boring, setting pedestals, or placing fiber. Starting pay is $21.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience.

REQUIREMENTS

· High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

· Full-time work schedule. Hours vary with the Summer Schedule and Winter Schedule. This position may require overtime including weekends and evenings as needed.

· One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, in underground construction-related activities is desirable.

· Class C California driver’s license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
