JOB TITLE: Construction Technology Manager

LOCATION: Charlotte, NC Preferred – Limited Travel to 7 Offices Across 3 States

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Construction Technology Manager who can help us with current construction technologies, as well as champion future technology initiatives. This position will collaborate with operations, IT, and marketing.
POSITION OVERVIEW: The Construction Technology Manager is responsible for leading the company’s overall construction technology across all offices and projects. This individual will be tech-savvy, business-minded, and thrive in a collaborative environment. They will evaluate, implement, and support technologies that align with company goals, to empower project teams with the tools they need to service our clients, increase quality and improve efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a company-wide construction technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Partner with Leadership, IT, Marketing, Preconstruction, Accounting, and HR to optimize workflows and improve efficiencies through technology.
- Evaluate and recommend tools that support field productivity (e.g., BIM modeling, laser scanning, tablets, mobile apps, jobsite connectivity, etc.).
- Lead technology training and assist with onboarding to ensure adoption across diverse user groups.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and support of enterprise systems (e.g., project management, estimating, accounting, BIM/VDC platforms).
- Support Marketing for project pursuit RFP’s and presentations, the website, social media, etc. with modeling imagery, graphic design, etc.
- Champion how the AI movement can be implemented for best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar or technology based position. Preferably with a multi-location construction or engineering firm (or similar).
- Strong understanding of construction technology platforms such as TruLook, DroneDeploy, Revit, Cupix, Open Space, Procore, Viewpoint, Bluebeam, Trimble, PlanGrid, Autodesk, Office 365, Adobe Creative Suite, SmartSheet, etc.
- Website Design / Web Hosting management / SEO / Google Analytics / Domain management / SSL knowledge preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - able to work across departments and seniority levels.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and vendor management.
- Self-starter with the ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.

Pay: $72,100.86 - $86,831.14 per year
