Job description

Fireplace Outfitters is seeking a HVAC Specialty Apprentice to join our team! As a HVAC Specialty Apprentice, you'll work alongside a team of 3-4 employees installing Fireplaces, Stoves, Inserts, Firepits, Hot Tubs, and Saunas across the Wood River Valley. Each day can be remarkably different and rewarding. Our install teams start their day at 8am and end at 4pm with some overtime occasionally required. During the summer months, the install team works 4/10's Monday through Thursday allowing for a 3 day weekend!

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• 1 -3 years of experience in a construction trade or HVAC is required. HVAC is preferred.
• No previous experience installing fireplaces is required, but is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Ability to lift over 50-100 lbs on a daily basis
• Must have strong skillset and/or aptitude in troubleshooting
• Will develop a strong understanding of fireplace/firepit functions, venting, and basic gas plumbing via onsite job training.
• Great communication skills with both customers, coworkers, and coordinators
• Strong work ethic is a must
• Strong focus on task completion and creativity to overcome problems.
• Great attitude and willingness to learn and get to work!

Compensation

Compensation is variable based on experience with a defined path for meaningful pay increases within 6-12 months as experience is gained. For those with previous HVAC experience, additional compensation may be offered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
