Construction Transactional Attorney (Simi Valley)

Boutique Construction Law Firm seeks an experienced Construction Transactional Associate with skills and experience to join its SIMI VALLEY team. (You can work hybrid remote after a probationary period).

We represent licensed contractors and small businesses who retain us to guide them on business formation, contracts, employment issues and matters pertaining to construction or commercial litigation.

IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS 2 + YEARS EXPERIENCE DRAFTING AND FORMING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS. WE WILL ALSO CONSIDER CANDIDATES WITH CONSTRUCTION DEFECT LITIGATION EXPERIENCE.

Seeking corporate transactional associate with experience with the formation and negotiation of Construction Contracts, drafting corporate formation documents and other business entities, LLC operating, shareholder, and other agreements typically relevant in these types of transactions, as well as strong corporate formation and commercial contracting experience for non-public entities. Other desired experience includes drafting contracts, settling contract disputes, corporate governance, drafting internal policies and procedures, risk assessment, due diligence preparation and compliance. Should have experience in the areas of Corporate, Transactions, and Contract Formation/Negotiation. The candidate should demonstrate transactional skills, including structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sophisticated contracts; reviewing and understanding intricate regulations and statutes; and managing demanding complex multi-faceted transactions.

We will consider Construction Defect Litigation Attorneys as well because that is a big part of our practice.

MUST be currently licensed to practice law in CA and living within 1 hour of Simi Valley.
