Construction/Warranty Service Technician

OVERVIEW:

Urban Renewal Builders LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Construction Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for completing punch list items on new construction homes and performing service work related to home warranty claims. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced across multiple trades, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship. This position requires strong communication skills, as you will be interacting with homeowners, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure all work is completed professionally and to satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities / Requirements:

Perform punch list completion on new construction residential and commercial projects

• Diagnose and complete warranty/service repair work in occupied homes
• Execute light to moderate work across multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, paint, basic plumbing, minor electrical)
• Troubleshoot issues and determine appropriate repair solutions independently
• Maintain a clean and organized job site in occupied and unoccupied homes
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and team members regarding scope and timelines
• Document completed work, materials used, and any follow-up items
• Manage daily schedule and prioritize multiple service calls efficiently
• Ensure all work meets company quality standards and local building codes
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if provided)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in residential construction or handyman services
• Strong working knowledge of multiple trades
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must maintain a valid drivers license
• Must have a personal vehicle
• Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work daily

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
