Singha Khonkaen is seeking a skilled and dynamic Consultancy Finance Analyst to join our team in Al Khor. As a Consultancy Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and analyzing the financial health of consulting projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, consultancy project management, and the ability to generate data-driven recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial planning, analysis, and reporting for consultancy projects, ensuring budgets are met and costs are controlled
- Analyze project financials, including revenue, expenses, and profit margins, to assess the financial performance of each project
- Prepare detailed financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and cost/benefit analysis for ongoing consultancy projects
- Develop and maintain project-specific financial models to support business decisions
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators for consultancy services
- Collaborate with project managers and senior leadership to understand project goals and ensure financial alignment
- Track project milestones and ensure that financial reports reflect accurate project statuses
- Review and analyze variances between budgeted and actual figures, providing actionable insights for corrective actions
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including cost reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies
- Support financial audits and ensure the accuracy of project documentation and records
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and project-based finance, preferably within a consultancy or service-based industry
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, cost control, and project accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management/ERP software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide clear insights
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both financial and non-financial teams
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in consultancy, professional services, or project-based finance management
- Knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- Familiarity with project management software and financial forecasting tools
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are highly desirable
