Consultant Anaesthetist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Anesthetist to lead anesthesia services, provide perioperative care, and ensure safe administration of anesthesia across surgical specialties. The role involves clinical excellence, emergency management, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anesthetic evaluations and risk assessments
• Develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to patient needs
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia
• Monitor patients’ vital parameters during surgical procedures
• Manage airway and respond to intraoperative emergencies
• Provide post-operative pain management and critical care support
• Supervise junior doctors, residents, and OT staff
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities
• Maintain accurate anesthesia and medical documentation

Qualifications:

• MBBS with MD/DNB in Anesthesiology (or equivalent qualification)
• Valid medical council registration
• Fellowship or additional certification in critical care/pain management preferred

Experience:

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience
• Experience handling major surgeries and high-risk cases preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹75,528.07 - ₹196,058.72 per month
