Consultant Doctor (Hair & Skin Clinic)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Consultant Doctor at Aesthetic Clinic located in OMR, Chennai. As a Consultant doctor, your day-to-day tasks will include providing a range of aesthetic and dermatological consultations and procedures to enhance the appearance and health of our patients' skin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting patient consultations: You will meet with patients to discuss their skin and hair concerns, medical history, and symptoms. You will perform physical examinations to assess the condition of their skin and hair.
• Strong upselling skills needed as per patient needs.
• Provide expert advice on skin care, hair care, and cosmetic treatments to clients
• Diagnosing skin conditions: Using your medical knowledge and diagnostic skills, you will identify and diagnose various skin conditions
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs This may involve prescribing medications, recommending lifestyle changes, performing procedures, laser therapy and other advanced treatments
• Perform various procedures such as Laser treatments, PRP, Hydrafacial, Chemical peels etc.,
• Monitoring patient progress: You will follow up with patients to monitor their progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment plans and progress notes.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in dermatology research, treatments, and technologies through continuing medical education and professional development activities.
• Uphold ethical standards and patient confidentiality in all aspects of clinical practice.
• Experience in Selling and upselling of cosmetic services and products.

Qualifications:

• Any Medical degree and a professional course certified in Cosmetology / Aesthetics.
• 2+ years of work experience as a clinical assistant/ consultant in any cosmetology clinic. Freshers also welcome
• A valid medical license
• Active communication skills and the ability to effectively explain medical terms to patients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
