Consultant - Gastroenterology

The Consultant will be responsible for delivering expert clinical care, performing diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage patients presenting with a range of gastrointestinal conditions.
• Perform endoscopic and other gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

• Provide expert consultations and guidance to medical staff and trainees.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with advances in gastroenterology.

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization in Gastroenterology.
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Gastroenterology.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical gastroenterology and proficiency in endoscopic procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to ongoing education and best practice standards.
• Familiarity with healthcare information systems is an advantage.
