We are proud to announce an opening for a Consultant General Surgeon. This pivotal role requires an experienced and compassionate surgeon dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care. The Consultant General Surgeon will be responsible for evaluating patients, conducting surgeries, and leading efforts in post-operative care, all within a supportive and collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations and diagnostic assessments to determine the necessity of surgical interventions
• Execute a variety of general surgical procedures with precision and care
• Administer pre-operative and post-operative patient management, ensuring optimal recovery
• Work closely with other medical professionals to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families on surgical options, risks, and recovery processes
• Engage in continuous professional development and remain informed of advancements in surgical practices
• Document all patient interactions, procedures, and outcomes accurately
• Participate in research and quality assurance initiatives to improve care standards
  
  

Requirements

• Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
• Completion of a residency in General Surgery
• Board certification in General Surgery is required
• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience in a consultant position
• Proficiency in a wide range of general surgical techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient care
• A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous
