Consultant Geriatric Medicine

The Consultant in Geriatric Medicine will provides expert clinical leadership in the assessment, treatment, and ongoing care of older adults, often with complex, multiple, or chronic health conditions. The role ensures that patients receive high-quality, person-centered care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being. We are hiring to enhanced patient and family satisfaction, and the development of innovative models of care for aging populations.

Your Responsibilities: Clinical Care & Leadership,  Service Development, Education & Mentorship,  Ensure adherence to clinical governance, safety standards, and ethical guidelines, while championing patient-centered and inclusive care. Determine and develop user requirements for clinical and digital systems in use, ensuring they are accessible, practical, and maximize usability for both patients and staff.

Qualifications

•  Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent).
• Completion of specialist training in Geriatric Medicine.
•  Full registration with relevant medical council

Experience

•  Proven track record in the management of complex elderly patients across acute, rehabilitation, and community care settings.
•   Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary team working and service improvement.
•  Experience in teaching, mentoring, and clinical supervision.

Certifications:

 Specialist Certification in Geriatric Medicine (as required by jurisdiction)
