Who are we looking for?

Designation : Consultant (Java Backend)
Experience Range : 3+ years

What is the work?

• Provide ongoing maintenance and backend support for the website’s existing Java-based infrastructure.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix backend issues in coordination with the internal digital and marketing teams.
• Ensure website uptime, security, and data accuracy across product listings, dealer pages, and customer sections.
• Perform minor code enhancements and configuration updates as needed.
• Manage and optimize database queries and API performance.
• Coordinate with front-end and hosting teams (Libsys/LSNetX) for deployment and technical support.
• Maintain basic documentation for fixes and backend changes.
• Advise the management team on technical improvements, updates, and preventive maintenance measures.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience in Java backend development and maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above), Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle).
• Familiarity with Tomcat/Apache servers and hosting coordination.
• Experience in bug tracking, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Good understanding of security best practices and data handling protocols.
• Comfortable working independently and providing support during defined hours or on-call basis.
• Prior experience maintaining corporate or eCommerce websites.
• Familiarity with Libsys/LSNetX or similar custom CMS environments.
• Basic understanding of front-end coordination (HTML, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of API integrations with CRM, ERP, or marketing tools.
