SearchPlus HR is seeking a highly qualified Consultant Neonatologist to join the medical team at a reputable Government Hospital. This role is critical in providing expert neonatal care to newborns admitted to the hospital, particularly those requiring intensive medical support.
As a Consultant Neonatologist, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of neonates with acute and chronic conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care while supporting families during their infants' hospital stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized neonatal care in the Government Hospital’s NICU and other relevant units.
- Perform detailed clinical assessments and manage complex neonatal cases effectively.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Carry out necessary neonatal procedures and interventions with precision and care.
- Collaborate closely with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and continuous care.
- Maintain clear and accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
- Offer support, education, and counseling to families regarding their newborn’s condition and treatment.
- Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.
Requirements-
Proven experience working in a hospital-based neonatal intensive care unit.
