- Provide specialized care to premature, low birth weight, and critically ill neonates in NICU (Level II/III).
- Attend high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation.
- Manage ventilator support, CPAP, HFNC, and other life-support systems.
- Diagnose and treat neonatal conditions such as RDS, sepsis, jaundice, birth asphyxia, and congenital anomalies.
- Perform neonatal procedures including intubation, umbilical line insertion, lumbar puncture, and exchange transfusion.
- Conduct daily NICU rounds and monitor treatment plans.
- Collaborate with Obstetricians, Pediatric Surgeons, Cardiologists, and other specialists.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control, and clinical protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records and participate in audits and mortality meetings.
- Guide junior doctors and NICU nurses; participate in academic and training activities.
