Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled OpenText xECM Consultant to lead the architecture, design, and deployment of our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions across our operations in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming complex, multi-layered document management requirements into robust, automated digital solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in configuring OpenText Extended ECM platforms, designing structured folder hierarchies, building dynamic reports, and executing end-to-end integration workflows with core enterprise systems like SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the "to-be" state architectural blueprinting and structural design for the Enterprise Content Management ecosystem.
• xECM Configurations & Implementations: Deploy, configure, and maintain OpenText xECM solutions, ensuring platform stability, optimized metadata structures, and compliant document lifecycles.
• Enterprise Integration: Architect and manage deep integrations between OpenText xECM and enterprise application suites to facilitate automated content pipelines across business workflows.
• Taxonomy & Hierarchy Management: Define, map, and enforce clean multi-level folder hierarchies and taxonomy classification strategies suited for rigorous document control standards.
• Data Migration & Back-Scanning: Oversee complex data migration strategies, including the optimization of back-scanning processes for physical historical records into digital OpenText repositories.
• Platform Hardening & Security: Implement strict governance models, access permissions, and performance tuning measures. Proactively monitor system infrastructure against security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary technical point of contact for external solution partners, cross-functional teams, and business units to successfully gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

Advanced Technical Responsibilities:

• Advanced OpenText Customization: Design, develop, and maintain custom OpenText WebReports and LiveReports to build dynamic dashboards, automate complex system workflows, and deliver tailored data reporting for business units.
• API Development & Integration: Leverage OpenText REST APIs and Web Services to build robust, programmatic integrations, enabling external applications to interact seamlessly with the Content Server repository.
• SAP & xECM Integration: Architect, configure, and support deep OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) for SAP Solutions. This includes mapping SAP Business Objects (e.g., Equipment, Functional Locations, Purchase Orders) to OpenText Business Workspaces, managing metadata synchronization, and ensuring smooth single-sign-on (SSO) and archival pipelines.
• Content Server Customization: Implement custom OScript, HTML, JavaScript, or CSS components within WebReports to enhance the standard OpenText user interface and optimize user experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Professional Experience:

• 2+ years of dedicated professional experience in consulting, configuring, and implementing OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) environments.
• Proven track record of managing enterprise-level digitization, blueprinting, and archiving initiatives.

Technical Proficiencies:

• Core Platform Architecture: understanding of OpenText Content Suite/Content Server architecture and mapping enterprise business objects into Content Server workspaces.
• OpenText Development Tools: Deep practical knowledge of building and optimizing using WebReports, Sub-WebReports, LiveReports (SQL-based reporting), and perspective views.
• Integration Protocols: High proficiency with RESTful APIs, JSON, SOAP Web Services, and secure authentication methods for content extraction and ingestion.
• SAP Component Knowledge: Strong familiarity with SAP-side configurations for xECM, including SAP Document Management System (DMS), SAP ArchiveLink, and the configuration of the OpenText Imaging Enterprise Scan / Windows Viewer.
• Database & Querying: Solid experience writing complex, optimized SQL queries (Oracle or MS SQL Server) specifically tailored for high-performance LiveReports without impacting production database performance.

Preferred Qualifications & Soft Skills:

• Active OpenText xECM Professional Certifications.
