Consultant Pediatric ENT – Abu Dhabi

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric ENT Specialist to join a leading children’s healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will provide specialized diagnosis, medical management, and surgical treatment for infants, children, and adolescents with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck conditions while ensuring evidence-based and patient-centered care.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary pediatric teams to deliver comprehensive ENT care and achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage pediatric ENT disorders including airway abnormalities, recurrent ear infections, hearing disorders, sinus diseases, tonsillar conditions, sleep-disordered breathing, and congenital head & neck anomalies.
  • Perform pediatric ENT surgical procedures including adenotonsillectomy, tympanostomy tube insertion, airway surgery, endoscopic procedures, and head & neck surgeries.
  • Evaluate and manage pediatric airway emergencies and complex ENT conditions.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations for pediatric ENT patients.
  • Collaborate with pediatricians, pulmonologists, speech therapists, audiologists, craniofacial surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Develop individualized treatment and postoperative care plans for pediatric patients.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, and long-term care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with DOH Abu Dhabi regulations and hospital policies.
  • Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuing medical education programs.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, patient safety, and quality improvement standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DOH Abu Dhabi.
  • Board Certification / Fellowship in Otolaryngology (ENT) with subspecialty training or experience in Pediatric ENT.
  • Valid DOH Consultant License or Eligibility Letter in ENT/Otolaryngology.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of post-board consultant experience in Pediatric ENT within a tertiary care or academic hospital.
  • Strong expertise in pediatric airway management and ENT surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication, surgical, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in pediatric airway reconstruction and complex head & neck procedures.
  • Exposure to multidisciplinary pediatric craniofacial and airway programs.
  • Academic and research experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment.
