Consultant Periodontist

Job Summary

A Periodontist is a dental specialist who focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease and conditions affecting the supporting structures of the teeth. The role also includes placement of dental implants and performing advanced surgical procedures related to oral inflammation and bone loss.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal diseases such as gingivitis and periodontitis
• Perform scaling and root planing (deep cleaning procedures)
• Conduct periodontal surgeries including flap surgery, bone grafting, and soft tissue grafts
• Place and maintain dental implants
• Treat gum recession and perform cosmetic periodontal procedures
• Evaluate and interpret dental X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with general dentists
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and periodontal disease prevention
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
• Follow infection control protocols and clinical best practices

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
