Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients requiring plastic and reconstructive surgery, particularly burn-related cases.
• Perform complex surgical procedures related to burn injuries, reconstruction, and trauma care.
• Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for patients.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental activities.
• Supervise and mentor junior medical staff when required.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in compliance with hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree recognized by relevant healthcare authorities.
• Board Certification / Specialist Certification in Plastic Surgery.
• Consultant-level experience in Burn Unit and Reconstructive Surgery.
• DOH License or DOH Eligibility Letter is preferred.
• Excellent clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a government or tertiary healthcare facility is an advantage.
